Private silversmithing classes can be held at the Sweet Pea Silversmithing Workshop in Helena, Montana, or at your own workshop or home.
The $290 cost shown covers the first 3 hours of your silversmithing class plus the $80 Silversmithing Shop fee; an additional deposit to cover travel fees will be required to book a class at your location.

Metal and all required materials are included in this price. You may purchase additional metals and high grade stones for you project, or bring your own stone to set.
Please note that although each person may take a different amount of time to finish their project, it usually takes one person about 3 hours to finish one project, and 2 or 3 people usually take about 3.5-4.5 hours to finish one project each.

During private classes, you will learn the basics of soldering and silversmithing as you make a custom piece of jewelry with a stone setting in the designated classroom at the Sweet Pea Silversmithing Workshop in Helena, Montana.
Using a small butane torch to solder the silver together, you can make a ring, pendant, bracelet, or earrings. You can even add multiple stones and embellishments in a private silversmithing class.
The acid bath can be a stressful step for some silversmiths, so the Silversmithing Workshop has a spill-proof pickling station for you to use! Now you can focus on your project instead of worrying about spilling the sulfuric acid we use.
In just a few hours you’ll build your solid silver piece of jewelry from scratch and set your stone. Afterwards you’ll take home a creation of your own and a strong baseline skillset to get you started on your silversmithing journey.
